Edyta & Alec's Cameo on Jay Leno

Yesterday, Alec and Edyta both tweeted that they were going to be on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and that their appearance had something to do with President Obama.  Here's what they said:

I found the episode yesterday on "The Tonight Show" website, and unfortunately, it is only available for viewing until April 15, so make sure to watch it right away.  Jay Leno indirectly introduces them at 2:10 and they make about a 50-second appearance:

Video About Edyta's Eye Surgery

Many of you know via Edyta's Twitter that she underwent eye surgery last year. I found this video a few months ago (and recently found it again) of KTLA interviewing Edyta about her surgery and showing some behind-the-scenes as to what actually happened.  Alec makes an appearance, coming in to see how Edyta was doing after the surgery procedure, and the two of them also show some sweet dance moves.

Dancing for a VARI Good Cause Featuring Edyta & Alec

Two Interviews w/Edyta & Alec

Sheena Metal of the talk show, "The Sheena Metal Experience", did a radio interview in early February with Edyta and Alec, who talked about DWTS and upcoming projects.  You can listen to it here.

I also found on the Pure DWTS website a link to a KTLA interview with Edyta and Alec about "Ballroom with a Twist".  They don't talk very much, but you get to see them dancing, which is always nice:

 

Edyta Speaking Polish

We all know the gorgeous Edyta is one hot Polish babe, but we never got to hear her speak her native language on DWTS. Not to fear, though. On YouTube, I came across this interview of her. Jump to 0:27 to hear her speak:

Kirstie Alley Mimics Edyta & Does the Cha-Cha-Cha!

Kirstie Alley has to be one of the greatest contestants to participate in DWTS this season.  She's funny, charismatic, gets along with Maks, and can definitely dance.  I loved this rehearsal footage of her mimicking Edyta's "booms":



And tonight, Kirstie certainly rocked the cha-cha-cha with Maks.  Wonderful performance and very nice technique!

Edyta & Anna at "Discover the Gift"

So Edyta tweeted a couple of days ago about a movie she saw and asked:

The ever so lovely Anna Trebunskaya.  I love how Edyta and Anna are good friends and support each other!  Anna replied with:

It's really nice how Alec and Jonathan are good friends as well.  And as a bonus, Anna included a picture of Edyta, looking beautiful as always:

I love Edyta's dress and earrings and combined with her fantastic looks, it makes for a really striking picture.  Speaking of the wonderful friendship Edyta, Alec, Anna, and Jonathan share, here is a video of them enjoying a dinner (made by Alec himself) at Edyta and Alec's house: http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2009/11/exclusive-video-blog-anna-trebunskaya-hangs-jerry-rice.  It was more than a couple of years ago, but it's nice to see them interact!

UniverseBallroom.com Event with Edyta & Alec

So while there hasn't been much Edyta and Alec news lately, I did come across this YouTube video of the two of them promoting a UniverseBallroom.com event they will be performing at in Fort Worth, Texas on April 2nd and 3rd:

Also, another thing I noted was that the YouTube channel the video came from is called alecmazo1.  Now I don't know if this is channel is run by Alec, but I'm guessing it is because I also found this video of Edyta answering a very interesting question from last year:



If this is really Alec's channel, I hope he continues to upload more videos, maybe even ones of him and Edyta dancing!  Edyta also has a YouTube channel, but hasn't uploaded anything to it for a while.  You can find it here.

DWTS Season 1 - Funniest Moments

So I was checking out Alec's Facebook page today, and I came across this awesome video from DWTS Season 1 featuring all six couples running into some...clumsy moments.  It was pretty hilarious to watch, and I especially loved how Kelly Monaco was sitting on Alec when he was doing pushups and vice-versa.  Enjoy!

Also, she answered some of her followers on Twitter who had been asking about DWTS, saying:

 

I'm sad she's not coming back, but she should and deserves to pursue her dreams and goals now that she's got the time!  Let's keep our fingers crossed, though, for a pro dance appearance from her and Alec this season!
